The next Australia/New Zealand Anglican Future Conference is planned for November 2026! We are returning to where the first Australian Anglican Future Conference was held in 2014 at the Melbourne City Conference Centre.
Join us for 2026
Join together in dependence on Christ to work and pray for an Anglican future which:
- Keeps the bible at our heart
- Proclaims Christ faithfully and effectively in our local culture, seeing local churches multiplied and strengthened
- Is part of a growing global movement representing the majority of the world’s Anglicans across all continents and regions
- Supports those in difficult circumstances and rejoices with those seeing encouragement
- Grows authentic younger leaders and generates resources for mission

The conference begins with registration from 2:30pm on Monday 9 November, with the first session beginning at 4pm, and finishes at 1pm on Thursday 12 November. See below for the timetable overview.

Younger Leaders
Those aged under 35 will be invited to a special pre-conference lunch on Monday 9 November to connect with key Gafcon leaders. Food will be provided. There will also be other opportunities to network with younger leaders during the conference, plus a time to meet with Paul Donison.
Workshops
There will be two workshop sessions with multiple options to go deeper in topics such as proclaiming Christ to specific groups, raising up leaders, understanding our global Anglican context, church planting and more.
Networking
One of the great parts of this conference will be meeting and networking with other gospel-hearted Christian leaders. There will be regional gatherings, specific interest groups, prayer groups and more.
Accommodation
Those attending the conference will arrange their own travel. Some billets may be available and this option will also be in the registration process. Billeting is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. We have also partnered with Olive Tree Travel to produce some accomodation packages which are available to browse below.
Children
There is a parenting room available for parents/carers with babies. The conference does not otherwise cater for children.
Registration
- Due to cost of living pressures we have decided to keep tickets at the early bird price. We want as many people as possible to be able to join us.
- Registration for the full conference is $405.
- Special price for theological students, ministry apprentices, and other full-time students under 35 is $250.
- For those needing assistance to attend we encourage you to talk to your local church or other Gafcon supporters in your region. A limited number of travel subsidies may be available where other options have been explored.
- There are no discounts for partial conference attendance, but if space allows the conference may have evening tickets available closer to the date for those living in Melbourne who are working during the day.

Tuesday afternoon, 2-3:30pm:
From Local to Global: Your Place in the Global Anglican Communion
Come and discover how you and your local church can take an active role in the life of the Global Anglican Communion. In this practical and encouraging workshop, we will briefly explore what God is doing across the Communion today before considering tangible ways individuals and congregations can participate in our shared mission. The session will include time for questions, conversation, and clear next steps for engaging faithfully in the global fellowship of Anglicans.
Bishop Paul is the Rector and Dean of Christ Church Plano. Ordained in 2004, he served in several Canadian parishes before being called to Texas in 2016 with his wife and their four daughters. In 2023 he was elected by the Gafcon Primates Council as General Secretary, and consecrated as a Bishop in Rwanda in 2024. In 2024 he was appointed as Assisting Bishop for the Great Plains Missionary District (ACNA), and in 2026 was elected as General Secretary of the Global Anglican Communion. He holds degrees in Fine Arts (University of Victoria), Theology (Regent College), and is a doctoral candidate (Trinity Anglican Seminary). Passionate about the discipline of Bible memorization, Bishop Paul loves to dramatically storytell the Scriptures when he preaches.

We have partnered with Olive Tree Travel to produce some exclusive accommodation packages for the conference. Olive Tree Travel can also assist with booking flights.
At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit commitment of $100 per person will be required through Olive Tree Travel’s e-payment gateway.
